The write touch
Choose from one of three pen tips with the right feel for you. Stay with the medium tip to get the feel of a pencil or swap it with a low-friction tip similar to a fine-point pen. Compatible with Surface Pen.

How to replace your Surface Pen tip
Note: These instructions do not apply to Surface Slim Pen and other pen models.

If you have Surface Pen with no Clip or Surface Pen with Single Button on Flat Edge here’s how you can replace the pen tips:
Use something to pull and slide out the pen tip like tweezers. Pull until the entire tip is removed from your Surface Pen.
Insert the thinnest part of the replacement pen tip into your Surface Pen. Push until the tip locks into place.

Get replacement pen tips
Here’s how to contact us if you need to get replacement pen tips:
Go to Device service and repair and sign in with your Microsoft account.
Select your Surface then follow the instructions. If you don’t see your Surface select Don’t see your device? and follow the instructions to register it.
